CUROQ X DOWNTOWN
Downtown Editions, 2019 — the first time Curoq Collectives exhibited anywhere in the Middle East. Part of Dubai's design district ecosystem, we explored the diverse qualities of glass alongside an arrangement of lighting and furniture from two Italian houses, Venicem and Santambrogio Milano.
The first time we arrived in the Middle East.
Venicem's founders, Melissa Lunardi and Massimo Tonetto, joined us at the booth — along with a stream of architects and designers who stayed for a high tea hosted over the course of the show. It wasn't a sales floor. It was a conversation, held in glass and light instead of words.

A quiet revolution in natural finishes. Curoq and Matteo Brioni presented clay in its purest, most intentional form —- crafted by an architect-artisan, curated through our lens of material intelligence. Designers paused, touched, and discovered the depth of true earth. this showcase marked the beginning of a new chapter for India: refined clay finishes shaped by craft, research, and emotion.
